🐾 General Questions
The basics about booking, availability, payments and getting started with Kashie’s Korner.

Yes! Kashie's Korner is fully insured through Pet Care Insurance (PCI), providing protection and peace of mind while your pets are in my care.

Absolutely! I maintain Pet CPR and First Aid Certification and regularly invest in continuing education related to pet care, safety, and animal behavior.

I primarily serve Summerlin, Spring Valley, The Lakes, Desert Shores, Sun City, and select surrounding Las Vegas communities. Availability in Centennial Hills and other nearby areas depending on service and scheduling. If you’re unsure whether you’re within my service area, feel free to reach out!

Yes. Complimentary meet & greets are required for new clients before most services begin. This gives us an opportunity to make sure we’re a good fit, introduce me to your pet in a familiar environment, review their routine, personality, preferences, care needs, home access, and any important safety information.

Kashie’s Korner accepts major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Zelle, Venmo, and cash. Available payment options and payment instructions will be provided when your booking is confirmed.

The sooner, the better—especially for vacation care, holidays, school breaks, and other high-demand periods. I do my best to accommodate last-minute requests when possible, but availability cannot be guaranteed.

Getting started is easy! Submit a service request through the Contact & Booking page with a little information about you, your pet, and the care you’re looking for. I’ll review your request and availability, then reach out to discuss next steps. New clients may be required to complete a complimentary meet & greet, client intake information, and applicable service agreements before their first booking is confirmed.
🐕 Dog Walking

Dog walks are available in 15, 20, 30, 45, and 60 minute options, allowing you to choose the length that best fits your dog’s age, energy level, routine, and individual needs. Visit the Dog Walking Services page for current options and pricing.

Las Vegas heat can be extreme, and your pet’s safety will always come first. During excessive heat, walks may be shortened, moved to shaded areas, adjusted to cooler times when scheduling allows, or replaced with an appropriate indoor enrichment or potty-break option. I will never force a full length outdoor walk when conditions could put your pet at risk.

Yes. I have experience working with dogs that are reactive, anxious, or nervous. Every dog is approached with patience, understanding, and respect for their individual comfort level. Please disclose any known triggers, bite history, escape behaviors, or safety concerns before services begin so I can determine whether I can safely accommodate your dog’s needs.

Please have your dog’s properly fitted collar or harness, leash, and any necessary walking gear easily accessible before the visit. If your dog has specific walking instructions, approved treats, behavioral triggers, or equipment requirements, please provide those in advance. I’ll handle the rest!

Absolutely! After each walk, you’ll receive an update letting you know how your dog did, along with photos whenever possible. I’ll also let you know about anything noteworthy from the visit, such as bathroom activity, behavior changes, or other concerns.
🐾 Drop-In Visits
Care, comfort, and companionship right at home.

Each drop-in visit is customized to your pet’s individual needs and may include feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, medication administration, playtime, enrichment, cuddles, and companionship. Care instructions are discussed in advance so your pet can stay as close to their normal routine as possible.

Yes. I am comfortable administering many common pet medications when clear instructions are provided. Please discuss your pet’s medication, schedule, administration method, and any special requirements during the meet and greet so I can confirm that I’m able to safely accommodate their needs.

Absolutely! You’ll receive an update after each visit, along with photos and/or videos whenever possible, so you can see how your pet is doing while you’re away. I’ll also communicate any concerns or unusual changes I notice during the visit.

Drop-in visits are individual visits that can be booked as needed for potty breaks, meals, companionship, medication, or other routine care. Vacation Care is designed for pets whose families are away and need multiple scheduled visits throughout the day. Visit the Vacation Care page for available options and pricing.

Yes! Drop-in visits can accommodate multi-pet households when their care needs can reasonably be completed within the selected visit length. For households with more involved routines or multiple pets requiring individual attention, a longer visit may be recommended.
🏡 Vacation Care

Vacation Care provides scheduled visits throughout the day while you're away, allowing your pets to remain comfortable in their own home and maintain as much of their normal routine as possible. Visits can include feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, walks when appropriate, litter box care, medication, playtime, enrichment, and companionship based on your pets' individual needs.

Individual drop-in visits are great for occasional care, while Vacation Care is designed for pets who need ongoing care while their family is away. Vacation Care combines multiple scheduled visits throughout the day into a consistent care plan tailored to your pets' normal routine.

Vacation Care can include 2, 3, or 4 visits per day depending on your pets' routine and care needs. We'll determine the appropriate visit schedule before your trip based on feeding, potty breaks, medication, exercise, and other individual needs.

Yes! Kashie's Korner provides personalized care directly from me, so your pets aren't meeting a rotating group of unfamiliar caregivers throughout your trip. They'll receive consistent care from someone they've already met and become familiar with.

Absolutely! You'll receive updates after visits along with photos and/or videos so you can see how everyone is doing while you're away. I'll also communicate any changes in appetite, behavior, bathroom habits, or anything else that may need your attention.

No. Kashie's Korner currently provides Vacation Care through scheduled visits throughout the day rather than overnight stays. This allows your pets to remain in the comfort of their own home while receiving consistent care based on their normal routine.

Absolutely! Vacation Care can be customized for multi-pet households, including homes with both dogs and cats. Each pet's routine, feeding instructions, medications, personality, and individual care needs will be discussed before your trip.
🐈 Cat Care

Cat care visits are customized to your cat’s individual routine and may include feeding, fresh water, litter box maintenance, medication administration, playtime, enrichment, brushing, and plenty of companionship or respectful space for cats who prefer it!

Cat care visits are available in multiple lengths depending on your cat’s needs and routine. Visit length can be selected based on feeding, medication, litter care, enrichment, companionship, and the number of cats in the home.

Absolutely! Multi-cat households are welcome. Care will be customized to each cat’s individual feeding routine, personality, medication needs, and preferences. Please provide detailed instructions for each cat during the booking process.

That’s completely okay! Cats are never forced to interact. I’ll respect your cat’s comfort level and allow them to approach at their own pace while still ensuring their food, water, litter, and other care needs are met. Updates will be provided even if your kitty decides hiding is the preferred activity for the day.

Yes. I am comfortable administering many common medications when a cat safely allows it. Medication needs and instructions should be discussed during the meet and greet so we can determine whether I can safely provide the required care.

Absolutely! You’ll receive a visit update with photos and/or videos so you know how your cat is doing while you’re away. Any changes in behavior, appetite, litter box habits, or other concerns noticed during the visit will also be communicated.

🏔️ Adventure Excursions

Adventure excursions are enrichment-focused outings designed to provide physical exercise, mental stimulation, and new experiences beyond a typical neighborhood walk.

Locations vary depending on the excursion selected and may include local parks, pet-friendly destinations, scenic trails, and outdoor recreation areas. Destinations are selected with your dog’s needs, fitness level, weather conditions, and overall safety in mind.

Absolutely. Fresh drinking water is carried on every adventure outing, with water breaks provided as needed throughout the excursion.

Safety is a top priority. I carry pet first-aid supplies and essential outing supplies, and take precautions appropriate to the environment, weather, and activity. I also maintain current Pet CPR and First Aid certification.

Yes. Adventure excursions include additional safety precautions appropriate to the destination and activity. Dogs remain securely leashed unless otherwise specifically permitted and appropriate, and additional identification or tracking measures may be used for added peace of mind.

Many dogs who enjoy exploring, exercise, and new experiences are great candidates! During the meet and greet, we’ll discuss your dog’s personality, fitness level, behavior, comfort with transportation, and any medical or mobility considerations to determine which type of excursion is the best fit. Activities may be adjusted based on your dog’s individual needs and current weather conditions.

Dogs are transported to and from excursion locations in my personal vehicle with safety and comfort prioritized throughout the trip. Any relevant transportation needs, behavioral concerns, or special accommodations will be discussed before your pet’s first excursion.
🚗 Pet Taxi Services
Safe, convenient transportation when your pet needs to get somewhere.

Pet Taxi Service provides safe reliable transportation for your pet when you’re unable to take them yourself. Transportation may include veterinary appointments, grooming appointments, daycare, training sessions, and other approved pet-related destinations.

Depending on availability, yes! If your pet needs me to remain with them during an appointment, please mention this when booking so adequate time can be scheduled. Additional charges may apply depending on the length of the appointment.

Safety is always the priority. Pets are transported using appropriate restraints, carriers, or other travel equipment based on their size, individual needs, and comfort level.

Yes! Pet Taxi can include pickup from your home, transportation to an approved destination, and return transportation when requested. One-way transportation may also be arranged depending on your needs and availability.

Please provide any necessary leash, harness/collar, carrier, appointment information, and special instructions your pet may need. Any required paperwork, medications, or items that need to accompany your pet should also be ready at pickup.

I understand that plans change! Cancellation terms may vary depending on the service, timing, and whether the booking falls during a holiday or peak period. Any applicable cancellation terms will be provided before your booking is confirmed.

A small holiday surcharge may apply to services scheduled on major holidays. Any additional charge will always be disclosed before your booking is confirmed- no surprise fees!

Your pet’s safety is always my priority. If an emergency occurs, I will make every reasonable effort to contact you or your designated emergency contact immediately. If urgent veterinary care is needed and you cannot be reached, I will follow the emergency care instructions and veterinary information provided during your intake process.

Please tell me! Every pet deserves care tailored to their individual needs. Senior pets, pets with disabilities, medical needs, anxiety, behavioral considerations, or unique routines are welcome to be discussed during the meet and greet so we can determine the safest and most comfortable care plan.

Your pet’s safety comes first during extreme weather. Services may be adjusted, shortened, rescheduled, or modified when temperatures, storms, air quality, or other conditions could make the planned activity unsafe. When possible, I’ll work with you to find a safe alternative that still meets your pet’s needs.

Home access instructions will be established before services begin. Keys, access codes, garage information, and other entry details are treated as private and used only as necessary to provide your pet’s scheduled care. Please let me know about any special access instructions or changes before your visit.
